Black Rebirth Collective

In recognition of our lived experiences of systemic racism, sexism and other inequities, we at Black Rebirth Collective stand firmly on our empirical understanding of injustice and commit to the continued analysis and expansion of our practices in order to offer tangible, engaging and workable solutions to the long existing racist and sexist landscapes in the theatre arts. We seek to collaborate with other arts institutions that are proven allies and advocates of anti-racists work through not only their written statements but through their administrative and artistic actions. Our vision is that people of all races, faiths, sexual orientations, abilities, genders and backgrounds find Black Rebirth Collective a welcoming, easily accessible and highly relevant source of art that reflects the indomitable human experience and promotes a more diverse, equitable, inclusive and vibrant theatre community.
